Jay Finn Insurance Agency serves our
community with home, auto, flood, and business
insurance coverage. Our goal is to make the
process of managing your insurance EASY, and
help navigate through your options to get the right

Unlike mass-market insurance providers,
Jay Finn offers personal service. We make the
daunting process of dealing with mortgage
lenders, claims adjusters, and the Registry of
Motor Vehicles easier for you. Our office is across
from the Stop and Shop so you can speak with us
in person.
John Doherty, a lifelong Winchester resident, is
the principal of the agency and has worked in the
insurance industry for over 20 years. After working
for national insurance companies, John took over
and updated operation of the business in 1990,
combining the Jay Finn, Barry and McHugh, and
Ducey Insurance agencies under one roof.
John and his staff are used to dealing with
multiple properties and businesses and planning
for contingencies like floods and hurricanes. We
represent many insurance companies and can
often reduce your costs by combining coverage.

John A. Pierce Insurance Agency was
established in 1923. The insurance agency
is presently being operated by the third
generation family members Kevin Pierce,
Carole Pierce Connolly, John Pierce III,
and Linda Pierce Tedesco. This generation
of the Pierce family all graduated from
Winchester High School and were very
active on many Winchester sports teams.
The agency provides all lines of
personal and commercial insurance, Auto,
Home, Umbrella, Yachts, Boats, and
Business Owner’s insurance. The agency
also provides life and health insurance.
The agency takes great pride in handling
the insurance needs of their grandfather’s
and father’s clients’ children and
