When friends Michelle and Errin got
together just talking about life, style, and
what’s missing from the world . . . the world
of shopping that is . . . Recess began to evolve
. . . QUICKLY!
Errin, a career woman, now a stay-at-home
mom of three, knows the constant struggle
of finding the perfect outfit, getting the kids
ready for a birthday, plus buying a gift, AND
still having a much needed girls night out, and
again needing another outfit! Michelle, also a
career woman with over 11 years experience
in the high-end retail world, also knows the
insane life of coming home from work late,
getting ready for dinner with her husband
and friends, finding a hostess gift other than
another bottle of wine, and still deciding on
the perfect top with her jeans!
Together it was decided . . . RECESS
needed to stop being only a dream and turn
into reality! A small place full of fun, fabulous
fashion, family, and great retail therapy!
Recess was designed to be an oasis of style!
Designed for any and all budgets!
People are our business! If you need a gift
wrapped and shipped out, you just pick out a
gift and we do the rest! Available to everyone

Have you ever used a museum pass at
the library, or attended a free concert at
the Winchester Community Music School,
or watched the high school marching band
perform in their new uniforms, or gone for
a swim at Borggaard Beach, or had a child
who attended an after school program at the
middle school, or received Meals on Wheels
through the Jenks Center, or sat on a bench in
Chefalo Park, or gone to the farmers market
on a Saturday morning? The Winchester
Rotary Club raised money to help fund these
endeavors in Winchester, and many more.
Did you know that the Winchester Rotary
Club awards Community Service Scholarships
to High School Seniors every year, and will
award up to $10,000 in scholarship money
this year alone?
The Rotary motto is “Service Above
Self” and the Rotary Club of Winchester
is committed to serving Winchester. There
are three major fundraisers each year—
the Rotary Golf Tournament in May, the
Pancake Breakfast on Town Day, and the Fall
Oktoberfest.
